Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition hits XONE/PS4 this 27th, hopefully PC too

The enhanced edition of Divinity: Original Sin [official site] now has a release date: the 27th of October. Their site claims the date for consoles and doesn’t specify whether that’s valid for PC/Steam as well, but it’s as close an estimate as we have this far. There’s also going to be exclusive content to both editions, though there’s no news of whether that’ll make it to PC either. You can check out what, alongside the new storyline, voice acting, controller support and many other features, will make it onto the specific console editions below:

“The Last Trick Bag full contents:
Grumio’s Backpack
Pamphlet of recipes
3 x Grumio’s Cotton Candy Dye
2 x Grenades ingredients
1 x Inert Wand
With these ingredients, you can create:
Scales of Steel grenade
White Dragon wand (with an Ice Wall skill)
This DLC will also be made available for purchase after the game’s release.

Additionally to this DLC, and as a special thank-you to those who have supported the Divinity series all these years, platform-specific DLC will be offered to all players, even after launch.

PlayStation 4 players will have access to the Secret Trick Bag, full contents include:
Grumio’s Backpack
Pamphlet of recipes
3 x Grumio’s Favourite Triad Dye
2 x Grenades ingredients
1 x Inert Wand
With these ingredients, you can create:
Eye of the Patriarch grenade
Blue Dragon wand (with an Invisibility skill)
Xbox One players will have access to the Forgotten Trick Bag, full contents include:
Grumio’s Backpack
Pamphlet of recipes
3 x Grumio’s Petrol Brand Dye
2 x Grenades ingredients
1 x Inert Wand
With these ingredients, you can create:
Breaching Fire grenade
Silver Dragon wand (with a Teleportation skill)”

I can’t say I won’t feel a bit cheated out if only their console versions get exclusive goodies, being the early adopter I was, but with workshop/mods and keyboard/mouse support I doubt they’ll be enough to make the console version better.
